Tags¶
The Tags module is the heart of X4D. X4D builds a Master Tag Registry by consolidating tags and attributes from every project source — mechanical equipment lists, line lists, instrument lists, cable schedules, specialty item lists, and more — and from every discipline, into a single, unified register.
Tags are grouped by discipline and arranged by classification. For any tag you can see its full attributes, its components and material take-off, and every document linked to it (tag-to-document cross-referencing), with hyperlinks back to the source document management system.
Each tag carries a 1D / 2D / 3D / 4D status so you always know where it exists:
- 1D — present in the tag list / register
- 2D — found on a drawing or document
- 3D — verified in the 3D model
- 4D — released by engineering for planning, work packages, and commissioning
