Create Work Package

Creating a field-executable work package (for example a FIWP or CWP) brings together the scope, materials, documents, and approvals a crew needs.

Steps (outline)

1. Create the package from its type/template under the right parent.
2. Select tags from the 1D list, 2D drawings, or the 3D model.
3. Review the automatic MTO and attach linked documents.
4. Apply cost codes, and generate a 3D viewpoint (and markups if needed).
5. Route it through the approval workflow.
6. Issue it — progress is then tracked by tag and package (see X4D Progressing).
